THE PUZZLING ZONE. Ever fancy being a little taller? Step into the amazing Ames Room and watch in wonder as you shrink and grow! What would you look like as an ape? Discover a new you in the morphing machine!
CAMERA OBSCURA: Come and see this amazing live moving panorama of the city. Spy on passers-by in the street below and pick them up in your hand! The Camera Obscura has now been delighting visitors for over 175 years!
ROOFTOP VIEWS: Perched high above the city, let the view take your breath away! 360° panora- mas of Edinburgh and don’t miss our fantastic, free high-power telescopes and binoculars which give close-up views of the city and far beyond.
MAGIC GALLERY: Catch your shadow, shake hands with your ghost and walk on water in the fish-tank. Amazing optical illusions with endless hands-on fun! You’ll be amazed at our giant kaleido-scopes and marvel at one of the world’s biggest plasmadomes!
LIGHT FANTASTIC: Enter a new dimension in the U.K.’s only permanent gallery dedicated to the science and art of holography. You’ll watch entranced as these eerily realistic 3D pictures change, appear and disappear before your eyes!
EDINBURGH VISION: See Edinburgh in 3D from the 1850s to the present day and make sure you try our live city viewcams which you can control. Scan right around the city and zoom in and out on anything (or anyone!) that takes your fancy! Step inside our giant pinhole camera and you’ll laugh as your friends appear upside-down! Spot how hot you are in the Thermal Camera.

Day 2: Edinburgh

Morning Guided tour of Edinburgh for 3 hrs with a local guide.
You will be at the hotel by your personal guide at 10.00 am. We will take a leisurely drive around Edinburgh’s Old Townand Royal Mile with your guide telling stories and describing city life over the last Millennia. We will point out historic buildings and explain important history associated with the city and its citizens over the years. proceed with the coach and visit for footstep at Holyrood Palace and Scottish Parliament building. We then head to the Forth road and rail bridges. The rail bridge (The Forth Bridge), built in 1881, was considered at the time, the greatest feat of engineering in the industrial world.

Day 3: Edinburgh – Lake District – Preston

Morning check out of the hotel and transfer to lake District (4hrs)
30 mins Cruise on lake windermere (entrance included)
Since the launch of the first passenger ferry in 1845, cruising has been an essential part of every Windermere itinerary. Some of the vessels are modern, but there are a couple of period beauties dating back to the 1930s. The steamers have saloons, promenade decks, teashops and licensed bars. A fleet of passenger launches supplement the service. Boats operate an extensive route network linking the main settlements. A popular outing is the 45-minute Islands Cruise from Bow-ness, which passes wooded islands and secluded bays. A 40-minute trip from Ambleside offers free entry to the Lake District Visitor centre at Brockhole with its exhibitions, playgrounds, gardens and restaurant.

Sit in the heights of the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand for a bird’s eye view of the pitch, stand in the manager’s spot in the dug out, sit in the Home changing room at your favourite player’s peg and imagine the roar of the crowd as you emerge from the players’ tunnel.

Glide above the Thames in the Emirates Air Line cable car, an easy way to get from the Greenwich Peninsula to the Royal Docks, and enjoy great views of London. The Emirates Air Line is a cable car crossing the River Thames in Greenwich, and the 1km journey gives passengers spectacular views of London from a height of up to 90m (295ft).

Chessington World of Adventures is one of the most popular theme parks in the UK. Chessington World of Adventures Theme Park Breaks are firmly focused on family entertainment. Famous rides at Chess-ington such as The Vampire and Rameses Revenge await those looking for white-knuckle thrills.
